Bring your fave dish to share with others (+ on others? 😏) potluck style. Temple will provide some plastic wrap to act as food to skin barrier and make clean up easier, but you are encouraged to bring wet wipes or a washcloth to use in the sink if desired.

Please note that there will not be shower access, so only get as dirty as you can handle!

Some of our scrumptious patrons will serve as a charcuterie board for the first hour of the event while we eat. Let’s see if they can keep silent and handle some tasteful play…

Come stitch, snack, and serve a good cause -it's the perfect way to connect, learn, and give back.

We ask that folks bring their own supplies for hard stitching, and something to share food wise with the community. No worries if you don’t have supplies, we will have a limited amount of supplies there for you to use as well!

Altars of Adoration

The climax and main ritual of the Aphrodite Temple provides guided Altars to allow Love Priestexxes to feel their full adoration fantasies provided by groups of three or more. Taking place at the four points or corners of a large, free-play Temple space this will provide opportunities and communal ritual orientation that everyone can opt in or out of.

Notably, this is not designed as yet-another-opportunity to “serve a master”, it is designed to celebrate those Love Priestexxs who give so much. Their Adoration groups and experiences will be curated and directed by their own DESIRE CADDY, who is responsible for understanding their Priestexx’s desires and boundaries and organizing and directing this Adoration Ritual.

Since ultimate adoration can take very different forms, we propose four different orientations of Altars, with their own PRESIDING CELEBRANT.

Inspiration

Ancient Greek warriors came to the Temple of Aphrodite where the priestesses would rehumanize them before they returned to their families. Today we all feel like world-weary warriors, our nervous systems jacked by the chaos of living in the challenging times. SSSTaR feels the call to reanimate this meaningful experience by embodying a gender-transcending Love Priestexx and their Temple Arts of Love.

Love Priestexx Welcome

When you first arrive at any of the events this week, beginning with Dee’s, Wedenesday Worship “Yoga Eros”. During Saturday Love Priestexx Workshop, you will learn this craft and develop the way of doing it that feels good to you…so that you can welcome the pilgrims to the Temple of Aphrodites, in full Priestexx costume (we will provide some white Grecian dresses, but you can order your own if you want to keep yours).

Rather than the disorganized pre-liminary time, participants who walk in would find themselves invited in a lush environment accompanied by Kerry’s live sound healing, where they will be greeted lovingly by a Priestexx who will co-regulate, soothe, listen, and answer whatever questions they have to create space for grounded growth

Love Priestexx Orientation

A core principle and purpose of the craft of a Love Priestexx is “Leading with Love”. It acknowledges that when we first meet someone individually (for the first time or after an absence) or collectively in a workshop or temple, it is a powerful moment of becoming. “Ritual time” begins the moment we take someone's attention. How we spend those crucial moments will shape what is possible in this sacred meeting… whether it is a whole new relationship, a date or meaningful encounter, or a whole festival or workshop.

Thus, this moment (and perspective and workshop!) is best described as an “orientation”, in that it is not only an intention and embodied mindstate… but also an embodied experience that guides the subject in the direction we co-creatively choose. Furthermore, this scales infinitely from tiny loving kindnesses you can offer yourself internally to massive sex rituals and culture change.

All of our events come with an aspect of self work and pleasure to integrate the work we’re doing back into our body. This workshop goes a lot deeper than we nomally would to illuminate parts of ourself which are not yet consciously discovered. We do this by intentionally thinking about all aspects of ourselves, both loved and unloved and working to incorporate these aspects. This helps us to live and create a more whole and unified self. This workshop will often times open up thing within us we didn’t know was there. Let’s dive in together, shall we?

To kick off Temple’s Christmas in July, Santa Shezza is comin’ to town to make sense and make fun of these “present” moments that can bring stress, pleasure, and possibility.

What if desire were a gift—a sacred, shimmering offering that rises from within, often sparked by someone who awakens our longing? Sometimes we work up the courage to give that gift.
